How do I book a photography session?

To book a session all you do is contact us my phone or email and we can get you scheduled for a date or two (if it’s an outdoor session and you are worried about weather). Once we figure out a date we will send you a booking contract with all the information. Half down is required to book a session or wedding, however we do try to work with clients if they need to do payments. Once the booking contract is signed and the deposit is made your date is secured! We will check in 1-2 days before as a reminder and to check on weather and go over any last minute details.

When should I expect my images and how will I receive them?

Images are normally back within 3-4 weeks, however during the busy season it could be 4-6 weeks. Weddings are usually back within 4-6 weeks of the wedding date. Almost all images are sent through a company called ShootProof.com. It’s a company that allows you to view and download all images from the site, even share them with friends or family.

What happens if weather is bad?

If weather is bad you have a few options. First is to reschedule (which seems to be the most common). Second is to move to another, indoor location. There are a few places in Omaha to shoot inside, the only one that doesn’t charge a fee is Mulhal’s. If you would like to pay to do an indoor session there are places like Lauritzen Garden, The Durham, The Joslyn, or Joslyn Castle. Third is to do them at our in home studio. We do have a small studio in our home for smaller children, newborns and small families. If it looks like rain, thunder, hail, really foggy or any alert from the weather channel we usually try to reschedule. Some clients will reschedule if it is too hot or too cold out, we can photoshop a lot but not frozen faces or sweat dripping down your entire face, haha! If it has rained and the ground is wet some clients will reschedule if they have small kids or would like to have a lot of poses on the ground. If it is overcast, don’t reschedule, that is great lighting for us!! That seems to be the most common question.
