The Reactions

The name Reaction Photography wasn’t chosen by accident. Years ago, one of my college photography professors said something that’s stayed with me ever since: A photograph isn’t really a photograph unless it creates a reaction.

Whether it makes you laugh, cry, smile, reminisce, or simply pause for a moment—that feeling is what makes an image unforgettable.Beautiful photos are wonderful, but my favorite part has always been hearing what happens after I deliver a gallery. The happy tears. The messages from grandparents. The kids who can’t stop pointing themselves out. The couples reliving their wedding day all over again.
